December 2010 - Yorktown Apts Planned Development Approved
PPK Architects received a Planned Development Site Plan approval of the Yorktown Apartments Project in Lombard, IL. Developed by AIMCO, Phase 1 will consist of a 3 level parking garage with amenity floor, roof top swimming pool/ party deck as well as site utility improvments and a surface parking lot. Phase 2 will include a 7 story, 96 unit Apartmement Building with 2 level indoor parking garage connected to the Phase 1 structure. The Phase 1 project is anticipated to be constructed in the spring of 2011.

October 2010 - Glen Ellyn Treasure House Expansion
The Village of Glen Ellyn approved the proposed expansion of the Treassure House resale store in downtown Glen Ellyn. This 1 story addition designed by PPK Architects will renovate the existing storefront and increase the sales area by 100%. Owned and operated by Metropolitan Family Services, the Treasure House also supports local programming by MFS in DuPage County and most the sales staff is local volunteers. EP Doyle & Son is the General Contractor for the project which is scheduled to start in early 2011.

October 2010 - The Streeter Apartments, Chicago, IL
Renovation of the Sales Center and Amenity Floor is almost complete at The Streeter Apartments - 345 E. Ohio, Chicago, IL. This is the lastest project completed by PPK Architects for the Village Green Companies. Previous projects include the Clubhouse Renovation at Village Commons Apartments in Carol Stream, IL.

September 2010 - 479 Roosevelt Rd, Glen Ellyn, IL
PPK recently completed a facade renovation for this retail building and the new Batteries Plus Retail store in Glen Ellyn, IL. The project is one of several retail buildings on Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn, IL that has been red-designed by PPK Architects.

September 2010 - Benton Harbor Senior Housing
PPKS Architects has been selected to design a new Senior Housing project in the Benton Harbour Shores development - Benton Harbor, MI. The project site is located adjacent to the 14th tee on the new Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and site for the 2012 Senior Open Golf Championship.
